Loewe restructures under LVMH

2-Aug-2002

Loewe Perfumes is being transferred by owner LVMH from the Leather Goods Division to the Perfume & Cosmetics division

Since its purchase by LVMH, Loewe has kept its leather goods and fragrances businesses unified under one branch. The perfumes & cosmetics division will now move to new offices in Madrid, although the fashion & accessories and ready to wear division will not undergo any changes.

A spokesperson for Loewe told TRW that the development is a positive one, meaning an improvement in synergies between Perfumes Loewe and the rest of the LVMH fragrance and cosmetics brands. "This initiative will further reinforce our international strategy, endowing the company with further investment and ambition," said the spokesperson.

Ramon Solé remains general manager of Perfumes Loewe, reporting to LVMH perfumes & cosmetics country general manager Spain Juan Pedro Abeniacar.
