Licores Aruba Tax Free Shoppes has expanded its facilities at Queen Beatrix International airport with three new locations. As well as the main store, the company now has outlets in the international departures hall, one in the arrivals hall and one in the US-bound departures hall. Aruba's international airport has been recently upgraded and last year had total traffic of over 2.2m passengers.

Licores Aruba Tax Free Shoppes managing director Louis Posner commented: "All our locations offer only quality products in liquor, tobacco or confectionery. Our walk-in humidor with exclusive fine cigars is an added attraction, and we also feature Riedel wine glasses and Fortnum & Mason products".

The company operates another new location at the Aruba Cruise Terminal, bringing the company's total number of stores in Aruba to five. Aruba has seen rapid growth in cruise tourism in the past decade of 400% and the boom in cruising in the southern Caribbean and Puerto Rico area is forecast to continue. Aruba's cruise visitors are expected to total more than 450,000 passengers this year.
