Lappalainen promoted at Brown-Forman

Olli-Pekka Lappalainen has been named Brown-Forman director of travel-retail in Europe, Africa and the Middle East

Liquor supplier Brown-Forman has named Olli-Pekka Lappalainen as director of travel-retail in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, effective from June 1. Lappalainen, who previously worked as Brown-Forman manager in the Nordic countries, will now be responsible for the company’s full portfolio in the EMEA region and will be based in Hamburg.

Lappalainen has previously worked for Cadbury Schweppes and Pernod Ricard in duty-free and travel-retail. He will continue to be responsible for the Nordic region until a replacement is appointed.
