LK Bennett opens first airport store

British fashion house LK Bennett is to open its first travel-retail outlet at London Heathrow terminal one in May

London-based fashion and accessories chain LK Bennett is to open a 387sq ft (118sq m) shop in the new departure lounge at London Heathrow airport terminal one.

The store will showcase the complete LK Bennett spring/summer 2005 collection of shoes and handbags, including specially-sized footwear designed to meet the demands of Japanese customers. The store will also offer a new luggage range for 2005.

Airport authority BAA managing director of UK airport retail Colin Hargrave said: "We are delighted that LK Bennett has chosen T1 to open its first airport store. Its arrival is evidence of our unrivalled retail proposition and how we are continuously developing the offer at our airports to meet customer expectations."
