Kuwaiti fund buys into Turkish operator

Kuwait-based private equity firm Global Investment House has taken a $75m stake in TAV Airport Holding Co

A Kuwaiti private equity company has bought a $75m stake in the holding company for Turkey Airport Development, which owns Turkey's largest duty-free operator ATU.

ATU has extensive retail outfits at Istanbul's Atatürk International Airport. The company pre-qualified to bid for retail operations at three Saudi Arabian airports in July.
