The airline is in the process of deciding whether to retain Tourvest Duty Free or appoint a new retailer
Kuwait Airways has tendered its onboard retail concession, and is in the process of appointing an operator for a three-year term. The contract was previously held by South African inflight retailer Tourvest Duty Free.
RavenFox.com can confirm that Tourvest is seeking to retain the contract, bidding against one unknown party. A Tourvest spokesman said that the company was confident that it can make the contract profitable if it is appointed, and said that its experience from the previous term would allow it to make refinements to its product selection.
A decision from the state-run airline is expected shortly.
