The three suppliers have confirmed their membership of the European Travel Retail Council this year

The European Travel Retail Council (ETRC) has announced that Kraft Foods World Travel Retail has become the latest corporate member of the group. The news follows the announcement at the ETRC Workshop last month that tobacco company Philip Morris World Trade and beauty supplier Chanel have also confirmed their membership.

The association's corporate members now amount to 33 companies including leading operators and brands from across all product categories, according to ETRC. Corporate membership was introduced in 2009 so companies can support the ETRC’s activities through annual donations.

ETRC president Frank O’Connell said: “I am delighted that Chanel, Philip Morris and Kraft have decided to become corporate members of ETRC. The long term support of corporate members is essential to allow us to deal with the growing number of challenges that we are addressing both within Europe and globally.”
