King Power names new management team

King Power International Group has bolstered its management team following the appointment of Susan Whelan as deputy managing director

King Power International Group has made several key appointments to bolster the group's management team. The appointments were announced by chairman and ceo Vichai Raksriaksorn.

Aimon Raksriaksorn is appointed as group deputy chairman and she is also named as chief financial officer. Chulchit Bunyaketu is appointed as group deputy chairman while Sombat Dechapanichkul is appointed as group managing director. As previously reported, Susan Whelan is appointed as group deputy managing director.

In other appointments that will become effective from May 1, Pichai Pitakchaisuk will take up the position of import merchandising director and Siriporn Arayathakul has been promoted to the position of airport operations director.

Commenting on the appointments Raksriaksorn said: ?The new organizational structure has been implemented to optimize the continued and future development of the group activities.?

He also confirmed on behalf of King Power Duty Free Co that he has signed the exclusive duty-free concession contract with the Airports Authority of Thailand on April 20. The contract extends King Power's contracts by 10 years.
