King Power maintains Thai investment as SARS effect bites

King Power (Thailand) is pushing ahead with its ambitious investment plans despite the hard-hitting effects of SARS on its business

The operator, which now manages all the country's main airport duty-free stores, will target the high-spending traveller with a new stand-alone watch shop in Bangkok International airport terminal one, slated to open in August. Until now King Power did not have enough space to dedicate to this kind of store, but the expanded space it has gained in the last year is allowing further development.
