Kiehl’s opens two travel-retail locations in South Korea

The two new stores in the country are a partnership between Scental and retail operator The Shilla Group

L’Oréal Luxury Products International Asia/Pacific travel-retail division Scental has partnered with retailer The Shilla Group to open two new Kiehl’s travel-retail locations in South Korea. A 25.6sq m (275sq ft) store featuring all the elements of the brand’s New York flagship outlet is now available at the Shilla Hotel downtown shop while a 19sq m (204sq ft) Kiehl’s boutique (pictured) has opened at the entrance of the retailer’s outlet at Seoul Incheon International airport concourse terminal.

Scental and The Shilla Group have reported “breathtaking sales figures” for the new stores’ first few days of operation, adding they are confident that the two boutiques “will accomplish outstanding results and become a huge success story”.
