Keflavik authority launches appeal

**TRW EXCLUSIVE** Leifur Eiriksson's board of directors has decided to appeal against the Icelandic Competition Commission's (ICC) verdict that it has an unfair advantage in duty-free business at Keflavik International airport
As exclusively revealed on TRW, last month the commission ruled that the landlord and operator had acted unfairly in allocating itself the best retail sites and most profitable product categories at the airport, and recommended that it either separate the company's retail arm, or withdraw from duty-free and publicly tender all categories.Bookmark This Article
