Keating to address industry in Singapore

1-Mar-2003

Former prime minister of Australia Paul Keating is to replace former New Zealand premier Mike Moore as keynote speaker at TFWA Asia Pacific in May

Keating will share his ideas of "The Asian Future" with delegates, urging them to consider the opportunities and challenges that operators in the region will face in the coming years.

TFWA has also announced that Dubai Department of Economic Development director-general Mohammed Ali Alabbar will address the conference. Alabbar is described as a driving force behind Dubai's recent developments in commerce and tourism.

Said TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen: "To have speakers of such pivotal influence on the world stage agree to address our Conference, in spite of their unenviable list of commitments, is testament to the high regard in which this industry is held."
