Kauffmann assumes new role as Brasif rings changes

One of the stalwarts of South American duty-free, Samuel Kauffmann, has stepped aside as managing director of Brasif to assume a new role at the Brazilian duty-free retailer. He becomes vice-president development for the company, and he retains his responsibilities on the boards of regional duty-free associations ASUTIL and IAADFS.

At Brasif, Kauffmann's responsibilities are assumed by Fabiano Vivacqua, who is named operations director. Eduardo Pereira is named vice-president Brasif Services and buying director Brasif Duty Free. The changes took effect this month.
