The Amsterdam concessionaire has reported a strong month in May, and good trading in the first week of the new Bijoux Terner store
Amsterdam Schiphol airport concessionaire Kappé International has opened the airport's first Bijoux Terner store in the Schengen lounge. Kappé chairman Jacques Parson told RavenFox.com that the new store, which opened on June 23, is achieving good daily sales and that he was optimistic about its progress.
"It is a new concept so it will take a while for the airport users to become familiar with it," said Parson. "But we have been quite happy with the volumes so far."
Parson reported that Kappé has had a strong May, with sales up about 7% compared with the same month last year. The opening of the new megastore run in partnership with KLM Tax Free Services in March has boosted the company sales. Parson revealed that Kappé is in the process of moving its landside Perfume and Colours outlet to a much better location. The move should be finalised by September
