Kappé and Estée Lauder contribute to ETRC security campaign

Kappé International and Estée Lauder are the latest companies to pledge support to ETRC’s Global Aviation Security Campaign with a donation of €50,000 ($64,665) each

Estée Lauder and Kappé International are the latest companies to confirm their commitment to the European Travel Retail Council's (ETRC) Global Aviation Security Campaign with a donation of €50,000 ($64,665) each.

Following ETRC president Frank O’Connell’s call for the industry to pledge additional funds to the campaign, Kappé is the first specialist retailer to offer its backing, while Estée Lauder is the first beauty company to confirm its support.

Senior vice-president and general manager of Estée Lauder Travel Retailing worldwide Olivier Bottrie said: "Estée Lauder is delighted to assist in contributing towards these crucial efforts and looks forward to working with our colleagues across the industry in support of the long-term interests of our business."

Gebr Heinemann, Dufry Group, Fraport and Diageo have also confirmed similar contributions.
