The airport retailer moves into the online retail business with the new Selected Wines service

Amsterdam Schiphol liquor concessionaire KLM Tax Free Services has launched a new retail business in partnership with Flying Blue, the loyalty programme run by Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Selected Wines is an online store offering customers a range of wines chosen by KLM, covering a number of varietals from Europe and the New World.

Selected Wines customers can order wines for consumption in KLM's World Business Class cabin and earn Flying Blue air miles. Dutch customers may also order wines for home delivery in the Netherlands. KLM Tax Free Services director airport retail Ico Smid told RavenFox.com the concept could be extended in future to include other product categories.

The website began trading on April 1. Click here to visit the Selected Wines site (in Dutch).
