Jordanian Duty Free shops reports profit rise

The Middle Eastern border operator boosts profits by two-thirds in 2004
Retail border operator Jordanian Duty Free Shops (JDFS) has posted a net year-on-year profit increase of 66% from $2.1m to $3.5m in 2004.
JDFS opened a new duty-free shop in August 2004 at Jaber on the Jordanian-Syrian border, increasing its portfolio to 16 outlets at the country's land crossings.
