The herbal formula from the US is proving successful in DFASS stores at Dallas Fort Worth
Dallas Fort Worth International airport has reported “huge success” for Flyright Jet Lag Formula with Buckaroo Duty Free since its launch in May.
The formula is available at four points of sale in the two Duty Free Air & Ship Supply (DFASS)-operated stores.
Flyright Jet Lag Formula creator Ted Ray said: “Buckaroo Duty Free is an incredible retail operation and we are delighted to have such a high level of exposure at this airport. Retailers are becoming more aware of wellness products and the potential for sales in travel-retail, but I would like to praise Buckaroo Duty Free and the DFASS team for their incredible enthusiasm and interest in Flyright. This is a pioneering product and the team has been the first in the industry to embrace this new opportunity and is making a great success of it.”DFASS purchasing director Patricia Allain added: “Early sales have been good and we are selling mainly on board long-haul flights to Asia and Europe.”
Ray is also developing an educational DVD for use in-store and for sales training. He said: “Feedback suggests that a DVD in-store would be very beneficial and it is something we are looking into. We are also considering including an interactive educational tool with our new merchandising gondola solution. But for now we are focused on face-to-face training and on providing in-depth teaching material covering all the necessary points.”
