Smoking lounge at Casablanca Mohammed V airportJapan Tobacco International (JTI) has opened five smoking lounges at Casablanca Mohammed V, Marrakech Menara and Agadir Al Massira airports. The move is a response to changes in public smoking legislation and JTI has already implemented a smoking lounge concept at airports such as Zürich, Kiev Boryspil, Dubai International and Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International.

JTI vice-president Edouard Touma said: “Allowing smokers to smoke while respecting the rights of non-smokers is a priority for JTI. Over the past three years, smoking lounges and stations have enjoyed tremendous success in leading European and Asian airports where the traveller’s well-being is a priority.”
