Itineris concept set for full Milan launch

Aeroporti de Milano SEA and Dufry Group are to introduce a new news and gift retail concept to Milan Linate and Malpensa airports

Airport authority Aeroporti de Milano SEA and Dufry Group to roll out their Itineris newsagent concept following its trial at Milan Linate airport. The store at Linate features electronic products including CDs, DVDs, gadgets and stationery alongside newspapers, magazines and tobacco products.

A second 307sq m (3,303sq ft) Itineris store will be opened at Milan Malpensa shortly, featuring a delicatessen area of 60sq m (645sq ft).

SEA Aeroporti de Milano commercial director Guy Louis Ponzo said the concept was tested at Linate with "great success".

The news comes as SEA revealed details of its retail renovation plans at Malpensa and Linate airports. For further details see DFNI March 1, out now.
