Bids for duty-free contracts at the Caribbean airport were submitted on March 21

Four international retailers have submitted bids for duty-free retail contracts at Aruba Queen Beatrix International airport, RavenFox.com understands.

Incumbents Grupo Wisa and Dufry Group, plus Aer Rianta International and Duty Free Americas, will compete with local operators for the concessions, which have been separated into lots according to product category. Motta Internacional confirmed that it decided not to bid for the business.

The deadline for bids at Aruba passed on March 21. Dufry and Wisa—formerly Waked Internacional—have operated stores at the airport for several years.
