Interest mounts in Changi beauty tender after briefing

Interest is growing in the fragrances and cosmetics tender at Singapore Changi airport follow a briefing held by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore earlier this week

DFS Ventures Singapore, Nuance-Watson (Singapore), Aelia, Gebr Heinemann, Hotel Lotte, Valiram Group and King Power (Hong Kong) were among the companies represented at the tender briefing held by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) for the fragrances and cosmetics concession at Singapore Changi airport earlier this week, Ravenfox.com understands.

CAAS advised all potential bidders to attend the briefing for the fragrances and cosmetics contract, which will cover space at terminals one, 2 and 3 and the budget terminal.

The contract is for three years and two months and will start in January/February 2008 or from the opening of terminal three.  There is also an option to extend the contract for a further two years subject to the agreement of the percentage of gross sales and minimum monthly guarantee payments.

The closing date for bids is May 16 at 4pm.
