Inflight Service secures new ferry contract

The retailer and distributor will begin trading on board Norwegian ferry company Kystlink this month
Retailer and distributor Inflight Service has secured the contract to operate retail on board Norwegian ferry company Kystlink. The company runs a single ferry on the six-hour route between Langesund in southern Norway and the Danish port of Hirtshals.Under the five-year contract Inflight Service will take over Kystlink's 580sq m retail operation, offering all duty-free categories.
Meanwhile the company has appointed Janus Grabowski to help develop its business in Eastern Europe, where Inflight Services operates at airports in Warsaw, Riga and Tallinn. Grabowski, who previously worked with V&S Group, will look to identify new retail opportunities in the region.
