Flemingo International has commenced work on infrastructure at six Indian airports after successfully bidding in Airport Authority of India's recent tender. Director Rasik Thakker told TRW that the authority had confirmed its decision to award Flemingo space totalling 3,000sq ft (279sq m) at facilities in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Calicut, Goa and Ahmedabad, and said that the company?which operates duty-free outlets in Tanzania, Kenya and Sri Lanka as well as at five other Indian airports ?had begun preparations and would be ready to open the new stores soon.
