Ibrahim steps up to former Mounib role

Abu Dhabi Duty Free general manager Niveen Ibrahim is appointed managing director of the retailer and acting commercial director of Abu Dhabi Airports Company

Mohamed Mounib, outgoing Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) managing director and Abu Dhabi Airports Co (ADAC) commercial director, has appointed ADDF general manager Niveen Ibrahim as his successor. She will become ADDF managing director and ADAC acting commercial director from August 1.

The role will include overseeing the development of ADAC’s commercial activities with particular focus on the new Etihad Airways terminal three and the privatisation processes that began last year.

Ibrahim said: “I am pleased to have the opportunity to be taking on the role and look forward to the exciting challenges that the role presents as ADAC and its duty-free operations enter a new and rapid stage of their development.”
