Nestlé International Travel Retail deputy general manager Iain Harrison has left after 10 years with the confectionery supplier

Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) deputy general manager Iain Harrison has left the company "to seek new challenges within the industry", according to a statement released by the company.

Harrison joined NITR in 1997 as product group manager responsible for the launch of new products. In 2000 he became commercial manager before taking responsibility for sales as trading controller in 2002. He was appointed deputy general manager in 2004.

Harrison said: “I have been with Nestlé for 24 years and the most exciting have been the last 10 within the International Travel Retail division. Being part of the successful drive to significantly grow the confectionery sector within travel-retail has been extremely satisfying and inspiring and I have enjoyed every minute. It is time, however, to move on and use my considerable experience within the industry in a new area.”
