ISG signs Vietnam and Pacific Airlines

17-Jul-2002

Leading inflight concessionaire Inflight Sales Group (ISG) has signed a three-year supply contract to operate the duty-free retail programmes onboard Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines

The new programme is due to begin on September 1 when the existing supply contract with Asia Wave ends. Asia Wave director Patrick Walsh told TRW that the decision was 'amicable' and that the company will be concentrating its efforts on the ground shops operations at Hoh Chi Minh City and Hanoi international airports.

Inflight Sales Group (HK) sales director Patrick Garreau is already preparing the new programme, which will have a new focus on the skincare and tobacco categories. Last year's turnover for both airlines is said to have reached in excess of $1m. ISG director Jean-Marcel Rouff commented: 'We are happy to have renewed this contract as the airline business in Vietnam is growing rapidly, and we are expecting a delivery of new Boeing 777s.'
