IATA slams UK landing charge hike

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has criticised the UK Civil Aviation Authority's decision to approve increased landing charges at BAA's London Heathrow International airport, calling it "excessive and unacceptable"

As previously reported on TRW, landlord BAA had welcomed the decision to raise fees by 9% from April 1, followed by increases of 5.6% over inflation for the next four years.
