The duty-free stores association has pledged $2,500 to help Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children

The International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has generously pledged a cash donation of $2,500 to this year’s DFNI Charity Ball, in aid of the Children’s Research and Medical Foundation at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, Ireland. The Ball will be held at the Renaissance Chancery Court hotel in London on February 29 and DFNI hopes that it will raise enough funds to be able to buy a state-of-the-art heart imaging system that will allow the team at Our Lady’s Hospital to detect and diagnose heart defects in children faster and more accurately.

Delegates from companies such as Hugo Boss, TFWA, The Patrón Spirits Company, World Duty Free, Novo IVC, Bacardi and The Moodie Report have booked tables at the Ball. Swarovski, Elizabeth Arden, Kraft, Bally, P&G Prestige Beauté and P&O Ferries are among the companies which have already donated items for the annual charity auction that takes place at the event, but more prizes and cash donations are welcome. To donate prizes or cash, or to enquire about tickets, please email Gerrard Kennedy on gerrard.kennedy@metropolis.co.uk or call +44 208 253 8607.
