IAADFS reports good response to Florida show

Exhibition space is sold out and visitor registrations are up for the Duty Free Show of the Americas in March
International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has reported a 7% increase in visitor registrations to date as the organisation prepares for the Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale on March 24-28. Buyer registration is up by 8% on 2005, according to IAADFS. Exhibition space at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center is sold out, with 221 companies set to exhibit.
Exhibitors returning to the show this year include Pernod Ricard, Camus Cognac, Bvlgari, Kraft Foods World Travel Retail and Jim Beam Brands. First-time exhibitors include Euroitalia, L'Occitane and Oilily.
Among new features at this year's show is a cocktail lounge and cash bar, open to delegates for two hours each evening during the exhibition.
Pre-registration for the show will continue until March 17. On-site registration opens on March 23.
