Sunglasses Hut and Life is Good combination store is unveiled by Hudson Group at the airport in southern California

Hudson Group has opened a new shop at John Wayne airport in southern California that combines a Sunglasses Hut with lifestyle concept Life is Good. Located airside in terminal A, the store features two separate entrances, although the two speciality areas are interconnected. The left hand side of the shop is dedicated to sunglasses, offering a range of luxury brands including Burberry, Dolce & Gabanna, Donna Karan, Oakley, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Ray Ban and Versace. The other half of the store, Life is Good, offers a range of themed fashionwear, backpacks, toys, beach towels and flip flops.

Hudson Group COO Joseph DiDomizio said: “Both of these concepts have been highly successful in other locations. Even the temporary Life is Good kiosk we have had open in the airport since last summer has done a tremendous amount of business. Both concepts are well suited to John Wayne airport, which is the gateway to southern California’s fabled sun and surf culture.”

The new store brings Hudson’s total number of shops at the airport to four, joining one newswall, a small landside shop and the retailer’s main shop in terminal A. Hudson Group has operated at the airport since 2005 under the name AMS-Martinez.
