Hudson Group wins Phoenix gift and news concession

Hudson Group has secured a deal with Phoenix Sky Harbor airport to open gift concept Desert Winds and a new Hudson News shop

Hudson Group and its local partner Cambios y Servicios have won the contract to develop gift concession Desert Winds and a new Hudson News shop at Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport terminal 4.

The Desert Winds concept will be divided into five shop-in-shops. The Arizona Spirit shop-in-shop will sell local goods and fashion, while Discover Arizona will offer souvenirs from local museums and attractions. Arizona Kitchen will feature a selection of kitchenware, Cosanti Bells is to showcase distinctive bells, wind chimes, pottery and handmade crafts and the Christmas in Arizona area will sell festive items.

Hudson Group executive vice-president Joseph DiDomizio said:"We are pulling out all the stops to serve the travellers and employees of the airport with news, gift and souvenir shops. Desert Winds and the new Hudson News store will make use of colours and materials evocative of the region to create a truly 'Phoenix' sense of place."
