The new director of business for Scandinavia aims to build the Portland brand in the region

Design agency Portland has appointed Ross Hopwood as director of new business for Scandinavia. Hopwood, who is based in Stockholm and has more than 25 years’ experience in the retail sector, will work closely with the consultancy to build the Portland brand in the region and develop business across the entire offer.

Portland managing director Ibrahim Ibrahim said: “It is great to have Ross on board. He will play an instrumental part in expanding our geographic reach as well as establishing our reputation in the region.”

Hopwood added: “Portland’s expertise and diversity will compliment the region’s significant design culture perfectly, at the same time, enhancing the experience with new ideas and international themes.”
