Hong Kong unveils landside concept SkyMart Avenue

A new landside shopping area has opened at Hong Kong SkyMart with 10 retail concepts

Hong Kong SkyMart, the key retail facility at Hong Kong International airport (HKIA) terminal one, has opened landside shopping zone SkyMart Avenue in the non-restricted area of level seven departures hall. The area contains "cabin-size" retail space, which can be used by  licensees to test  their products and features 10 retail concepts.

SkyMart Avenue includes outlets from Giorgio Fedon, Mattel and Bose. Airport Authority Hong Kong commercial director Hans Bakker said: “It has always been our goal to maintain a retail environment that benefits both visitors and licensees at the same time. SkyMart Avenue has further proved that HKIA is the regional hub with the best trading environment.”
