Nick Hillyard has left his position as a consultant to Hellenic Duty Free Shops following the recent restructuring of the agreement between the board and joint venture management company GTM.

GTM (a partnership between Aer Rianta International, Gebr Heinemann and Kappé Schiphol) and the Hellenic board agreed to alter GTM's management role to a consultancy agreement in September. This prompted the departure of the international management team.

Hillyard, one of the duty-free industry's most experienced and respected retailers, is returning to his home in Sydney, Australia. He is keen to pursue other opportunities on a full-time and consultancy basis. He can be contacted by e-mail on hillyardnick@hotmail.com
