Hillyard joins Air Asia

Experienced industry executive Nick Hillyard has joined fast-growing low-cost Asian airline Air Asia as a duty-free consultant, the airline has confirmed to TRW. The carrier plans to launch an inflight duty-free range next month and has been seeking a partner for its retail activities.

Hillyard said he was delighted with the move. He told TRW: "I feel very good about the future. This is an instant fit in terms of business style and approach."
