High-profile launch for Cockpit

The Aelia-exclusive fragrance by Azzaro is the second collaboration between the retailer and the supplier

French travel retailer Aelia has launched its latest fragrance exclusive by Azzaro across its store network. The men’s fragrance Cockpit is the second collaboration between the two companies—the first, Jetlag edt, was launched in 2006. The 75ml edt spray comes in a midnight blue bottle designed by Federico Restrepo and is priced at €32 ($46.70).

Aelia perfumes and cosmetics director Béatrice Delorme said: “The success of Jetlag set the bar very high for our future projects with Azzaro, but I am very confident that Cockpit will exceed our expectations. We’ve worked hard to make the promotional material as impactful as possible, and we’re very happy with the results. Initial sales during our high-profile promotion period are extremely encouraging and the customer response has been fantastic.

“We have long stated our belief that exclusive products meet a number of key customer needs, not least the desire to discover something different,” she added. “Parfums Azzaro, along with other beauty houses such as Guerlain, have shared that belief and given us invaluable support in our bid to be different. Aelia will continue to innovate in the perfumes and cosmetics category, which is vital to the current and future growth of the group.”
