The experienced travel-retail executive is to leave Silja Line after 25 years to join the Finnish confectionery company

Silja Line procurement manager shopping operations Jaana Heino is to leave the company after 25 years. She will join Finnish confectionery company Leaf from November 27.

Heino cited the perpetual challenging climate of the Nordic ferry market as a reason for her departure. “It’s time to look around and think about something new which will give a fresh perspective,” she said.

A replacement for Heino at Silja Line has yet to be named.
