Gebr Heinemann has made another generous donation to the aviation security campaign fund

The European Travel Retail Council (ETRC) has revealed that German retailer Gebr Heinemann has made another €25,000 ($34,172) donation to the association’s aviation security campaign.

The company was the first to lend financial support to the ETRC when it first launched the campaign donation in November 2006, with a €50,000 ($68,344) donation. It made the second pledge following Frank O’Connell’s calls for continued support following the European Commission’s approval of legislation to ease transfer restrictions on liquids from select countries.

ETRC also confirmed generous donations in recent weeks from Shiseido, the Nordic Travel Retail Group and the Moodie Report.
