The companies are to supply Skopje and Ohrid airports with duty-free goods after winning a tender for the business
Hellenic Duty Free Shops and Gebr Heinemann have won contracts to supply the duty-free shops at Ohrid and Skopje airports in FYR Macedonia. The shops were formerly managed by state-owned company Public Enterprises of Airport Services Macedonia-Skopje.
Hellenic won the tender to supply Skopje and Ohrid airports with duty-free fragrances and cosmetics, liquor (ouzo, wine and brandy) and cigars. The contract to supply the remaining product categories?tobacco, alcohol and confectionery?has been awarded to Gebr Heinemann. Six companies competed for the supply tender.
Hellenic described the expansion as key to its ?continuous financial growth?. It also supplies Greek Army units located in Kosovo with fragrances, liquor and tobacco.
