Bvlgari, Gucci, Prada and Christian Dior will have stores at the new terminal when it opens on March 27
Airport authority BAA has announced the latest luxury brands to join the line-up of premium stores that will be available to passengers when London Heathrow airport terminal five opens on March 27.
Italian house Bvlgari will offer a boutique-style shop featuring watches, leathergoods and accessories, and will also showcase vintage pieces never before available in travel-retail. A Christian Dior outlet will offer the company\'s full range of accessories, from shoes to fine jewellery. Prada will bring men\'s and women\'s accessories and a selection of ready-to-wear pieces, while Gucci will open its first location with the new flagship design for the brand, where travellers will find handbags, footwear and accessories.
BAA retail director of T5 Nick Ziebland said: "T5 will offer a unique experience for passengers travelling through the airport. We are proud to team up with luxury brands such as Bvlgari, Gucci, Prada and Christian Dior to add to the full range and diversity of shops that are already planned for the terminal. With their shared commitment to surprise and delight the traveller, these brands will help ensure that T5 provides an original and exciting retail experience.”
