A high-end denim concept from the London retailers will debut at London Heathrow terminal three this month

BAA Retail and Harrods are to open a new standalone denim concept at London Heathrow terminal three this month. The 46sq m (495sq ft) Way In outlet will be operated by Harrods, which already operates a Way In department at its flagship Knightsbridge store, and will offer top denim brands with jeans starting from £130 ($173). The airside store will offer brands including Rock and Republic, Allen B, Da Nang, Wheels and Doll Baby, with more new brands to follow within six months.

BAA Retail managing director of UK airports Colin Hargrave said: "The store is another great addition to the successful retail offer within T3. It paves the way for further innovations and developments in the future, to ensure that we constantly exceed the expectations of our passengers and offer a truly great experience at our airports."

A Harrods spokesperson said: "We hope that Way In will win the same plaudits as the original department at the store in Knightsbridge. Our standing as a major airport retailer has been established for many years but with this new concept we hope to take that reputation to the next level."
