UK airport retail managing director Colin Hargrave is to depart from airports group BAA at the end of April
UK airport retail managing director Colin Hargrave will leave BAA at the end of April after 11 years. He has decided that "the time is right for him to move on".
Hargrave said: "Ive had an amazing 11 years with BAA, leading the team through the loss of European duty-free in 1999, the Gulf war, foot and mouth, September 11 and the various terrorist threats of recent years. The continued development of the retail proposition will come together in the opening of [London Heathrow airport] terminal five. This seemed an appropriate time for me to move on to new challenges."
BAA commercial director Duncan Garrood will assume Hargraves responsibilities on his departure.
