The Tunisian duty-free retailer has extended co-operation with ferry line Navigation for a further five years

Hamila Duty Free has re-signed its contract to manage its duty-free operations for Tunisian ferry company Navigation for the next five years, starting in January. Hamila manages five ferries, each with two or three shops of 100sq m (1,076sq ft). Regular routes run from Tunis to Marseille in France and Genoa in Italy.

The news comes after the company recently renegotiated the contract for its 200sq m (2,152sq ft) port shop at La Goulette in Tunisia.

Hamila Duty Free CEO Tarek Hamila said the move was a significant deal for Hamila's operations in Tunisia, where he estimated the travel-retail market is worth about Eu80m ($99m).
