Non-aeronautical revenues are the theme for this year’s edition of the annual event

The 11th Hamburg Aviation Conference will focus on retail and other non-aeronautical revenues. Entitled The Future of Airport Non-Aeronautical Revenues: Balancing Aviation and Commercial Interests, the summit is jointly hosted by Hamburg airport and Gebr Heinemann and will take place on February 13-15.

Among the topics to be covered at the conference are the consequences of the removal of duty-free status within the European Union, best practice in managing revenues from retail and food and beverage outlets, brand and shop allocation and regulatory matters. The event will also address emerging issues in aviation such as environmental concerns and the rise of long-haul low-cost carriers.

The Hamburg Aviation Conference is supported by the University of British Columbia, the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, and the German Aeronautical and Astronautical Society. More information about the event can be found at www.hamburg-aviation-conference.de.
