Hachette to educate passengers about euro
Hachette Distribution Services?s confectionery tobacco and news (CTN) chain Relay is embarking on a week-long campaign this month to educate customers about the new European single currency.
With less than six months to go before the euro becomes a hard currency, Relay?s customers will be given a free information leaflet about travel and the euro in over a 1,000 Relay stores in Europe and North America. Available from 9 to 15 July, the leaflet is entitled With Relay, Have the World in Your Pocket.
A Relay spokesperson commented: ?As a leading name in the world of travel, Relay is willing to use the strength of its network of its stores to support this landmark event in European country, which by its very nature will facilitate trade and travel between countries. The operation With Relay, Have the World in Your Pocket will bring more than 50m passengers up to speed on the new currency.?
Relay, launched by Hachette Distribution Services in January 2000, is the largest CTN chain in the world with over 1,055 stores throughout Europe and North America.
