HMSHost vice president of North American business development Joe Waller has been appointed vice chair of Airports Council International—North America (ACI-NA) associates' board of directors.

The ACI-NA associates' board represents the interests of the 380 airport services industry companies which are associate members of the council. Waller has sat on the board for the past year and has represented the organisation in ACI World Business Partners alongside delegates from Europe, Asia/Pacific, Latin America and Africa.

"Given both the challenges and opportunities facing the aviation industry today, ACI-NA plays an increasingly important role for the associates, the member airports and the travelling public," said Waller. "I am especially excited about working with the associates and member airports in this role."
