HMSHost has introduced upscale shopping concept World of Passage at two of its locations

HMSHost has introduced three new stores under its luxury shopping brand World Passage  – two at Seattle-Tacoma international airport and one at Minneapolis-St.Paul international airport. The shops feature what the retailer described as a “superior selection of merchandise previously only available to duty-free passengers”. Duty-free exists only for limited items, such as alcohol and tobacco.

The stores allow all travellers to access sought after brands including, Christian Dior, Lancôme and Anthony’s products.

Senior vice-president HMSHost Retail Joan Ryzner explained: “The demand for upscale and high-end retail is increasing at airports and we’re helping savvy travellers make the best use of their time by offering a quality shopping experience like World Passage. International travellers can still take advantage of the duty-free merchandise, however we’ve now given all travellers access to the brands they want.”

Brands available at the outlets include cosmetics and fragrances from Christian Dior, Givenchy, Armani and Estée Lauder, Swarovski crystal jewellery and watches from Gucci and Cartier.

Also available to all travellers are Calvin Klein, Gucci and Guess luggage, handbags and accessories,  Adidas and Puma sports apparel and accessories, and Ralph Lauren and DKNY designer sunglasses.
