HMSHost picks up store design award

HMSHost Corp, the leading US airport retailer, has announced that its Expedia.com Cafe in San Jose International airport been awarded the Grand Prize for Design in the 2002 restaurant/foodservice category from the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers

The Expedia.com cyber cafe is one of the company's latest concepts tailored to business travellers, launched at the end of last year in partnership with the leading online travel service (TRW 02/01/02). Bar-top maps of local points of interest and snippets of travel trivia provide an interesting diversion and a sense of place.
