HMSHost opens first NASCAR Shop at Charlotte

The 700sq ft (65sq m) store will offer branded clothing, collectibles, accessories, gifts and souvenirs for motorsport fans

The NASCAR ShopRetail operator HMSHost has opened the first official NASCAR Shop at Charlotte Douglas International airport's main terminal. The 700sq ft (65sq m) store will offer branded clothing, collectibles, accessories, gifts and souvenirs for motorsport fans, including special displays of NASCAR’s 60th Anniversary items.

 

NASCAR managing director licensed products Blake Davidson said: “This partnership with HMSHost will provide the fans travelling through Charlotte with an opportunity to bring the excitement of NASCAR home. This store is an important component of our overall retail strategy and there is no better place to open this first store than in the heart of the NASCAR industry and the home of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.”

 

HMSHost senior vice-president business development Pat Banducci added: “We expect the NASCAR Shop to become a destination for fans of the sport and are delighted to work with Charlotte Douglas International airport and NASCAR in opening this first airport location.”
